Diesel modetøj
Diesel S.p.A, eller bare Diesel er et italiensk designermærke som fortrinsvis henvender sig til unge mellem 15 og 35. Diesel har dog også børnetøj og sportstøj.
Diesel har været rigtig dygtige til at ramme målgruppen gennem en række kontroversielle reklamer og også deres tilstedeværelse i sociale medier er helt i top. Blandt de kampagner som har fået størst omtale er en række billeder som viser hvad der ville ske hvis rock’n roll musikere overtog Himlen, samt musikkonkurrencer og andre kampagner, som er målrettet de unge.
Diesel jeans er fortsat hjørnestenen i Diesel brandet selvom Diesel fremstiller mange andre beklædningsgenstande. Ud over modetøj har Diesel udliceteret brandnavnet så man i dag kan købe Diesel briller, Diesel sko, Diesel ure, samt Diesel dufte og smykker.
Diesel blev grundlagt i 1978 af Renzo Ross og Adriano Goldschmied, men det var først i 1985, hvor Renzo Ross overtog hele firmaet, at det begyndte at rykke. Diesel åbnede deres første butik i 1996 på Lexington Avenue i New York. Diesel har i dag over 200 butikker i hele verden og også i København findes der en Diesel butik.
